Jewel® from Innovision Research and Technology plc, is the ticketing solution designed to meet the contactless ticketing needs of the 21st Century. Jewel offers:

• ISO/IEC14443:2001 type A standard product fully compatible with ITSO standard reader infrastructure
• 768 bit / 96Byte user programmable memory plus 48 bit / 8 Byte OTP (one time programmable) memory, ideal for carnet style ticketing

As a contactless solution, Jewel offers benefits through the transport value chain:

• Improved journey statistical data availability
• ID1 format means Jewel tickets can be vended without replacing ticket vending equipment
• ITSO standard product which can be integrated with existing schemes

Jewel is optimised for ease of implementation with a variety of form factors available, including ID1 tickets in either card or PVC, blank or printed with customer artwork on both sides
